Exquisite black velvet handbag from the 1950's. Long narrow body creates the envelope style, set on a goldtone frame with oval faux pearl disks lining the front frame. Short velvet handle.

Interior is finished with a black fabric, metal zipper compartment, open peach lined small pocket (for mirror or comb) and the attached change purse.

Body is 9 inches tall, 10 inches wide with a thickness of 2 inches at the bottom. Very long and narrow.

Excellent condition with only a bit of fabric wear on the handle.
