There are two little metal hair combs attached to the headbandfor extra support. There is also a little round metal logo tag and name tag attached to the headband.

* Our crowns are richly embellished and quite heavy. To help ensure that the crown stays securely on your head, we have attached hair combs to the headband. If you feel you need extra support, then teasing your hair for some volume and adding hair spray before sliding the crown on your head is recommended. You can also add bobby pins across the small combs in the shape of an X.
