This is a vintage banarsi brocade sari with gold zari thread work woven through the fabric. It has an extra length of fabric added to the top to give it another 12cm in length for part of the sari. Where the fabric would normally be pleated.

It is quite heavy and comes with a matching blouse. this does show signs of wear around the armholes.
