This exciting, midi length vintage evening dress from Oleg Cassini is completely covered in 3/8-inch ruby red (not true red that just barely hints of pink) paillettes (flat sequins) attached to a red polyester shell. The surplice bodice has a deep-V neckline. One side of the dress is swagged over to the left hip where it's gathered down to the top of an asymmetrical dropped circle skirt. Probably dates to the 1980s, although if it ever had shoulder pads, they are no longer present. It could also be from the 1970s disco era, but the fabric tags in the dress were not required by law until the mid-1980s. Labeled vintage size US 8, but seems to run smaller, as vintage sizes usually do. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.

CONDITION

This dress is in excellent condition. I never claim that there is not a single missing sequin on a dress like this, but we couldn't find any.
