Nest 3L high efficiency shaker flasks are ideal for medium size scale up work. They are "high efficiency" in that a 3L flask has 162mm diameter footprint, allowing for more of them to fit on a shaker platform. The geometry of the flasks also allows for higher shaker speeds without damaging the cells. Faster shaker speeds means better gas exchange, higher growth rates and more yield per flask. 

This product features pre-assembled tubing, connectors and gas exchange filters allowing for the movement of liquid in and out of the Erlenmeyer flask with minimal risk of contamination. Many customers have realized significant cost savings by switching to aseptic transfer systems.
